Home Description
Description of the home
This is a lovely, peaceful home, with lots of living areas, outdoor spaces and decks, views towards the mountains, and an endless supply of spectacular sunsets!
Available short to medium term (between 4 weeks to ~3 months with some flexibility for longer), this would ideally suit a single professional or student seeking accomodation for placement, contract work, or in-between homes.
$400 per week, including internet and all utilities (based on sensible usage).
You’ll have your own lockable room with essential furnishings (queen bed, linen, desk, chair as shown), plus your own bathroom and toilet.
This is a calm, relaxed home, with a fun energy, but not really a party environment, and would suit someone respectful, independent and easygoing
Non-smoking, low synthetic fragrance (laundry detergent supplied), environmentally responsible and energy conscious household :)
Plenty of street parking available, possible off-street.
Single occupant only. Sorry, I can't take pets right now.
I have some flexibility for longer stays if it works well.
We are handy to the inner city bypass, so under 10 minutes drive to John Hunter Hospital. (~15-18 mins public transport). 5 minutes drive to Charlestown Square (15-20 mins walk), 10-12 minutes drive to a selection of fabulous Newy beaches.

I am a fun, fifties, Gen X, graphic designer and artist.
I have recently become an empty nester – I have a room and some space to spare in this lovely home.
I love a chat and a laugh, but I also really value having space and a respectful living environment.
My adult kids (27, 26, 21) visit or stay on the very rare occasion, and my easygoing artist/engo fella stays here maybe two out of three weekends.
I am away for a few days a couple of times a month, and occasionally away in my campervan so you would have some time and space to yourself as well.
