Description of the home

We are a couple with a 3 bedroom house, of which one room is available to rent. The room in large, polished timber floors, built in wardrobe, furnished and overlooks Lake Macquarie. We all share the living space, kitchen, laundry and bathroom and with shared or independent meals an option. We are mostly vegetarian and love getting our veg from the local farmers market.
We currently have a male sharer downstairs and he has two dogs which he keeps downstairs.
If you are looking short term that is fine with us.

Bills and expenses

Bottled gas, electricity, internet and excess water are the usual bills and these are included in the rent. Should there be a significant increase in the electricity we may seek a bit more funding.

About the occupants
My husband and I are keen sailors so spend time on the water whenever possible. The house is an older wooden style so a lot of my time is spent renovating and repairing but the good news is we are almost done.
Dave works in building automation and electronics and is very capable at fixing things.
I am mostly committed to the house.
We are relaxed, comfortable in our home and would hope anyone sharing with us would be also.
We are mostly vegetarian with a meat meal maybe once a week.
