Our modern four-bedroom house is centrally located, yet feels like a little slice of country living in the city. It’s surrounded by a beautiful, well-established garden with veggie beds, fruit trees, and several peaceful outdoor spots to relax and unwind—perfect for making the most of the Perth.

The city, beach and Swan Valley are within easy reach by public transport and the river close for leisurely bike rides and kayaking adventures.

The House Setup
- One shared bathroom for three bedrooms
- Two extra toilets (in the hallway and laundry), so there’s no waiting
- Our master bedroom has its own ensuite and toilet
- We use air conditioning sparingly to keep costs down

About occupants
We are a happily married same sex couple of 29 years, are young, 59, self funded retirees, open minded, Perth locals, social, avid gardeners, love the outdoors and yoga, are well travelled and speak intermediate Spanish.

A nice young French male, 25 (leaving 1 Feb) and an Aussie male, 30, are sharing with us at the moment. One of them has lived with us since March 2024 and the other since Dec 2024. The general vibe is very relaxed. They both enjoyed looking after the house while we travelled for 6 months earlier this year. We plan to the same again in 2026. They have been active in the garden and are currently reaping the rewards of their work in the vegetable garden.

The house is located in a small quiet cul-de-sac with nice friendly neighbours.

Description of pets
You’ll be sharing the space with our friendly chickens (yes, free eggs!), a couple of parrots, and some indoor and outdoor fish tanks that add to the calm, homely feel.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome (sorry, no cats). We already have pets and occasionally dog-sit for friends, so it’s important that any pet is respectful of the space. Any damage or mess caused by your pet would be your responsibility
