Full use of Kitchen, Laundry, Front Patio & BBQ/Entertainment areas and facilities.

You purchase your own food and personal items and cook your own meals. You may occasionally be offered a meal, like a nice Sunday roast or a warm hearty beef stew.
We use the BBQ all year round, which you're more than welcome to use yourself.

Home is on a 700 sqr mtr block and is a comfy, modest lived in HOME, which is well kept, clean, fully furnished and with a calm, respectful and stress free environment.
• Garden maintenance is handled by a regular gardener and paid separately by the owner, Household members may occasionally be asked to help with sprinklers.
• External security cameras operate in outdoor areas only.

This is a calm, happy, friendly, respectful, settled and mature home – definitely not a party or drama house, and we’d like to keep it that way 😊 - you’ll be sharing with:
🔸 Live-in owner (F 55+) – outside smoker - I have been known to spend time away from home with work, sometimes up to 4 nights at a time
🔸 Separate semi-self contained attached studio occupant, (M 60+), – non-smoker - Only comes inside to use the shared bathroom, laundry, toilet and to do his dishes.
🔸 We are NOT A COUPLE & both of us work full-time.
We are friendly, independent, and social drinkers, and generally catch-up with each other on a Friday late afternoon, after work, for a social drink and chat in the outside Entertainment area, most times our elderly next door neighbour, who's a widow, will pop over to join us
🔸 Desexed & Vaccinated Medium sized, affectionate, sociable, ball obsessed, couch/bed potato, chatty, boundary pusher lol lol lol, 8-year-old male Staffy × Kelpie rescue, who doesn't posses a mean bone in his body, and is a very important part of the household.
You’ll need to be comfortable living with a dog – and yes, a little dog hair is part of the package no matter how much vacuuming happens.
🔸 Regular garden maintenance is provided as a courtesy (not included in rent). Household members simply clean up after themselves and assist with occasional sprinkler use when required.
🔸 External security cameras operate in outdoor areas only.
Compatible people
Best suited to a mature, single, respectful male who is FIFO or full-time employed. A person who is comfortable living with a medium/large dog and can appreciate and contribute to a quiet, calm, drama-free home environment, and is:
• Friendly, independent, clean, tidy & considerate
• Respectful and understands personal boundaries
• Social drinker ok (drunken or disruptive behaviour won't be tolerated)
• Drug-free
• An outside smoker/vaper only
• Cleans up after themselves
• Happy to pitch in around the home from time to time

Description of pets
You’ll need to be comfortable living with a dog, as I have a friendly, goofy, affectionate and sociable 8-year-old male rescue Kelpie x Staffy who’s a much-loved part of the household. Fair warning - a little dog hair is simply part of the package, no matter how much vacuuming gets done 🙃😊

Unfortunately I can’t have another dog in the house. My previous lodger’s dog attacked mine unprovoked, and I’m simply not prepared to risk that situation happening again.

Cats unfortunately aren’t suitable either due to household allergies
