About occupants
Sam is 27 years old and loves his footy. He plays AFL, touch footy and AFL 9’s and coaches Auskick. He loves competing in Cross Fit Games and Triathlon competitions, goes to the gym several times a week, rides his bike, surfs each week, socialising, and music (great at music trivia!). Sam is very much part of our local community and he already has his own active social life, which includes visiting his girlfriend in Sydney on some weekends. He also works part-time and has several PT sessions per week. Sam is thriving living independently with housemates for the past 2.5 years. Oh and did we mention he was born with Down syndrome which means it takes him a little longer to learn new things and sometimes needs some prompting in his day to day responsibilities around the home- although he is becoming a great cook and has experience in tidying up after himself

Sam loves living in a beautiful, fully furnished 4 bedroom rental near Huskisson with 2 bathrooms, 3 sitting areas inside and 3 outside sitting areas and access to the water. His other Supportive Flatmate is a delightful female who works in hospitality
Compatible people
We are looking fora kind, mature and empathetic housemate with great sense of humour and communication skills aged between 22-30 years to share a house with 1-2 other flatmates. (preferably female but open for the right person!)

We are looking for Supportive Housemate who is happy to bring reciprocal value to the house, who enjoy being sociable and up for different fun activities. Ideally you like participating and watching sport (AFL and NRL especially) and hopefully enjoy watching Home and Away!!

The right flatmate would be an informal mentor and role model, a person that is excited to be part of Sam's supportive network; someone who he can build a friendly relationship with and be a Supportive Flatmate, not a Carer. The option of receiving a modest financial renumeration could be paid on the agreement that a housemate can provide companionship to Sam by sharing chats and dinner together a few times a week, help with some prompting, sharing his interests; approximately 5 hours per week and ensuring one person is home overnight. Tenancy lease would be 6-month minimum with view to longer term.

If you are interested in finding out more, please contact Sam through his Individualised Living Options Manager, Bianca Applicants are preferred to be female but if you feel you are the right fit please apply.
