Description of the home

Hey guys! I’m looking for someone to rent the second bedroom in my place. I’m in Brisbane most weekends as my partner lives there. I often have mid-week events there also - plus I’m travelling a lot over the next few months, s you’ll have the place to yourself quite a bit!

I’m initially looking for someone for 3 months, and if we get along well as housemates, I’m totally open to extending.

Because I need to see clients on the coast, I am in and out but mostly working from home when I’m at the coast. I’m specifically after someone who works full-time and doesn’t work from home so If that’s you, check out my description and shoot me a message if you’re interested 😊

The bedroom would comfortably fit a queen bed with two bedside tables, a surprisingly big wardrobe it’s deeper and larger than it looks.

There’s a big shared bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet, plus a European laundry that has great storage and a washer and a dryer. The kitchen is fully set up with all the essentials: dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, air fryer, fridge and a Dyson vacuum. The place is basically move in ready - you’ll just need your own bedroom furniture.

The living area has a super comfy L-shape couch, a 65-inch TV with a soundbar, and access to Netflix, Stan, Disney+ and Prime. There’s also a great balcony with a four-seater table. I was going to add an outdoor couch but since I’m not home much, I’ve kept it simple.

There’s an undercover car space and I’m happy to share it on a first-in, best-dressed basis. There is another car park that’s just not under cover and loads of on street parking so that’s never an issue!

All bills will be split
Electricity - approx $250 a quarter
Water - approx $250 a quarter

Internet is $90 a month and as that’s a fixed price I’ve included it in the rent :)
