Home Description

Description of the home

A cosy 2-bedder on a quiet, leafy street under a minute walk from Camperdown Rest Park and 5 minutes to King Street (just over 5 to Newtown Station). The 412 bus route between Campsie and CBD goes from the end of the road and a spare parking permit is available for any car owners (there's usually plenty of on street parking nearby). Heaps of fun restaurants, cute coffee shops, quirky bars and crafty things to do within walking distance - it's just a 3 minute stroll across the park to the Courthouse Hotel. It's also a short walk to Aldi and IGA, with the Erskineville Woolies Metro just a little further. Under a 10 minute drive or a short bus to Marrickville Metro for those bigger grocery shops.

About occupants
Hi there, I'm Blair (31). I arrived from the UK almost 3 years ago and am currently on a sponsored visa working a 5-day 9 to 5 office job in environmental consultancy. I go to our CBD office most days, working from home occasionally if I have an excuse (e.g. an appointment). I strive to create a homely feel, enjoy cooking and chatting, but respect that everyone needs their own time and space living in a share house. Outside of work I enjoy catching up with friends for dinner or trivia (come join us!), do the groceries, run errands, or occasionally find the will to exercise. My partner tends to drop by once or twice a week, but otherwise we stay out the house.
Compatible people
Ideally looking for someone working on a similar schedule to me, with a preference for being in the workplace over working at home (am open to discussing this though). With only 2 bedrooms I think it's important we get along. I'd love to hear from you if you're up for a night in watching a film (bonus points if you have subscriptions!), sharing a meal now and then, having a yarn over some wines, or if you'll motivate me to go for more runs. Please also have some lived share house experience and be ok with splitting the chores now and then.
