Jake is a 34 yr old dog trainer from London. He loves nature and enjoys crafting, writing, poetry, music, and artsy stuff like that.
We've been married for 11yrs and in Sydney for 10 of those. Between us, we hit a lot of the 'Inner West Lefty' stereotypes, but I promise we're not unbearable about any of it. (Not biased either, obviously 😝) VERY British SOH. We're pretty sociable and will have mates over occasionally, would love to meet yours too! All very respectable and grown up affairs though these days! We speak basic Spanish and are learning Arabic (just on Duolingo rn)... We're veteran house-sharers and love having a lil community vibe at home. We used to be into doofs and things, but are more likely to be hitting the garden centre on a weekend these days... We just finished a trip in a caravan and are kinda starting up fresh again.
Friendly, open minded, and with a good sense of humour; perhaps also a bit queer, quirky, spicy, non-conformist but in chill ways? On our housemate wishlist is also someone who gives at least one shit about the world and other living things in it (we're not vegan but are eating more plant based these days - it's cool if you are or not!).
We're keen for a friendly person who enjoys taking part in an occasional house dinner or low-key event (i.e. board games or movie night etc) and is able to communicate honestly and openly. A hardcore room-dweller probably wouldn't love the vibe, as much as we respect the need for space and downtime etc. Rest is Radical <3 We've usually ended up being mates with people we've lived with.
No haters or judge-y types! (A bit of snarkey humour can be fun though, on warranted occasions 🤣) Smoking is A-OK outside.
