Description of the home

Looking for a roommate for my beautiful ‘treehouse apartment’.
My name is Liz, I work full time in marketing and also study a Bachelor of Psychology on the side – so I’m fairly busy, but in my downtime, I love being to relax as well as be social, having friends over, the occasional party and it’s a 420-friendly house, so it’s important that you’re totally chill with joints being smoked inside. I used to live in New York for about 4 years, so I have created that vibe in the apartment. I’m very easy-going.

I always have paulo santo, sage or sandalwood oil burning and we can open all of the windows to our place to air out the apartment and I enjoy keeping a beautiful, clean home. I love to clean so I am always cleaning but I appreciate it if someone likes to keep a clean home too. I also love to cook an Italian feast every now and again. There are also always candles burning for some magical vibes. You probably noticed that we don’t have a TV out, but we do own one – don’t worry, and it comes out easily whenever we feel like it (daily). I used to work in Film and Television so I definitely love a movie night. I am looking for a CHILL and friendly housemate who is comfortable doing their own thing but also likes to hang out and watch Netflix (Amazon Prime, Binge, we have everything) or have dinner parties on occasion etc. We are not a ‘party house’ per say, we are definitely a home - but I do love to have a party and host, and when I do, I do it well. It’s the perfect space for entertaining and I love meeting new people.

The house comes completely furnished apart from your room, there may potentially be some items to buy from the previous roommate like a bed etc, and we enjoy air-con and a heater when we want to. I am all about comfort and everyone being able to do their own thing, so I would want you to enjoy everything at your own will and feel super comfortable at home here. We do not negotiate bills though to keep nice vibes only, everything is evenly split.

Your room is basically impossible to photograph, but it is much bigger than it looks in pictures. The really tall ceilings and huge window give it a cathedral, sanctuary vibe. It easily fits a Queen bed and it's really nice if to have it under the window. We have a great building with an amazing rooftop that has a beautiful view of the city skyline and is great for sunbaking. We are so lucky to have incredibly sound-proof apartments xx
