Hey, I'm Eliza. I'm a 35 year old writer, director and pilates instructor in my mid-thirties and I've lived in the inner west for years, it's genuinely the only part of Sydney I want to be in.
During the week you'll find me working across film and TV. I wrote a book, made a couple of comedy series for the ABC, and somehow also ended up being a part time pilates instructor on the weekends.
After hours I'm usually poking around a good bookshop, or in the garden. I take the garden seriously, I find it genuinely calming and I'm not precious about getting my hands dirty.
I like a home that feels lived in and looked after. I'm social but I'm not loud about it. I appreciate a good kitchen, a quiet morning and a housemate who'll occasionally watch something excellent with me.
If that sounds like you, come say hi. 🌿
Housemate 2:
I'm Skyler - 34, and currently in a bit of a busy season! My day job is a national training and delivery manager in mental health, which basically means I spend my days supporting facilitators deliver mental health programs.
On the side I also act, host trivia nights, and run team-building events. Somewhere in between all that, I'm writing an Honours thesis in psychology, which basically means that I'll always have too many tabs open.
I'm friendly, communicative, and genuinely care about a house feeling like a home. Good at talking, good at not taking myself too seriously, very good at pretending I have it all together.
We're pretty easy going and just want housemates who feel the same. Practically speaking: respectful of shared spaces, communicative, and mature about shared living. We're social when it matters and looking for someone who feels the same way about that too.
LGBTQIA+ and weed friendly.
A green thumb would go a long way. The garden is genuinely beautiful and we're committed to keeping it that way.
No pets sadly.
If you're the kind of person who notices the leadlight windows and the fireplaces and thinks "yes, this" rather than just ticking off bedrooms and bathrooms, you're probably our person. 🌿
Cowboy is an indoor dog who has lived his entire life in apartments and shared terraces. I trained him not to bark when we lived next door to landlords and it has held across every living situation since. He is settled and comfortable spending extended periods alone at home.
