About occupants
We are a family of 4 who live in the leafy suburb of Haberfield NSW. Alistair is a civil engineer who works on projects in the Inner West. Amanda is an artist and manages the family macadamia business. We have two children who go to school in the area. Most importantly, the other 2 rooms in the in the apartment upstairs you will be sharing the with two female students age 22 and 32yo from India and Türkiye.

Our property has a separate apartment on the top floor of our family home. We live downstairs and have decided to create a homestay in the upstairs self contained apartment for people looking for a beautiful, quiet place to stay within 10km of the cbd and close access to Haberfield village, cafes and university.
Compatible people
We are excited to offer our home to students studying in Sydney. Our guests have travelled from around the world to study, including Korea, Chile, Türkiye, Columbia, India and Kuwait. We currently have two of the three rooms filled, and the larger room is available (East Room). Our place is ideal for people looking for a calm, respectful place to live, stay and find a home away from home. Kindness, consideration and warmth are always most valued personal qualities in a share home. The other flatmates have a roster for sharing cleaning etc so being happy to pitch in to clean once every three weeks is also a good fit for the home.
