Home Description

Description of the home

A great spot—super close to the city (about 10 minutes by bus or car), but it still has that quiet, tucked-away feel. You’ve got everything nearby—Coles, Woolies, heaps of cafes, and plenty of spots for a drink or dinner along Military Road. It’s a pretty ideal mix of convenience and calm, with parks and harbour walks nearby too.

The bathroom is shared, but it’s kept clean and has plenty of cabinet space for your things. There’s also a spare room with a couch and heater—it looks out onto the garden and is great for extra storage, drying clothes, guests (the couch is big enough!), or just a quiet spot to relax.

About occupants
Hey, I’m Oliver! I’m in my 30s, working full-time in eCommerce marketing and also a photographer. I keep things pretty relaxed at home—clean, respectful, and always up for a chat or a shared meal now and then. I’m social but value downtime too, and I’ve had housemates from all walks of life (models, artists, creatives—you name it). Looking for someone easygoing who appreciates a calm, tidy home with good vibes.
Compatible people
Someone easygoing, respectful, and independent, who values a calm, tidy home but is also open to the occasional chat or shared meal. Ideally, they’re clean without being obsessive, and comfortable with a mix of quiet downtime and casual socialising.

They don’t need to be a creative, but it helps if they understand the flow of a busy work life—someone who’s mindful of shared spaces and happy to do their bit around the house. Bonus if they enjoy good food, the outdoors, or just value a relaxed, drama-free vibe.

Really, it’s just about mutual respect, clear communication, and being easy to live with.
