Home Description

Description of the home

Hey there! I’m looking for a flatmate to move into the second bedroom of my place in Neutral Bay.

It's a bright, airy two-bedroom apartment in a secure building on Wycombe Road. The best part is easily the view—we have a shared balcony and living area that look straight out over Neutral Bay, the City, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and North Sydney. It’s a pretty spectacular spot for a drink at sunset or a quiet morning.

The room for rent is a good-sized double with a large built-in wardrobe. You even get your own views of the Bridge and the cityscape right from your bed. The rest of the place is fully set up with a functional, equipped kitchen and plenty of space to relax.

If you work in the city, the commute is actually something to look forward to. It’s a 5-minute walk down the hill to Hayes Street Wharf, then 9 minutes on the ferry to Circular Quay. If you prefer the bus, they stop right outside and head to the city, Manly, or up to the Neutral Bay shops/Military Road.

We’re also super close to the harbour foreshore walks, Hayes Street Beach (great for a quick dip or lay in the sun), and some local gems like Thelma & Louise for coffee or the Neutral Bay Club for a casual afternoon.

About occupants
I’m 43 and work full-time in a professional role. I’m easygoing and always happy to have a chat or share a meal, but I also really value my own downtime and respect that everyone needs their own space to recharge. I like to keep the place feeling like a sanctuary—calm, clean, and relaxed.

I’m happy to do an inspection in person or jump on a video call if that’s easier for you. If you have any questions at all, just give me a shout!
Compatible people
I’m pretty open-minded about who moves in. The main thing for me is finding someone easygoing who wants a place that feels like a home, not just a room.

I definitely value my own space and downtime, but I’m also very much up for a chat or a coffee down the street if you’re keen. It would be a nice bonus to find someone who’s happy to occasionally chill and watch a show or something together, but there’s zero pressure—I’m just as happy keeping to myself and doing my own thing.
If you’re reliable, clean, and looking for a relaxed, friendly vibe, we’ll definitely click.
