~ Flatmate wanted in exchange for light home care ~
I’m scoping out the idea of a live-in carer support arrangement in a beautiful split-level apartment in Potts Point.
The setup would involve a few hours of home care each day — around 18–20 hours per week (or roughly 2–3 hours per day) of light support. This would mainly include cooking, some cleaning and tidying, and a little help getting to the pool or medical appointments. In exchange, you’d have use of the entire top floor of the apartment — your own bedroom, marble bathroom, and study.
It could suit a student, freelancer, working holiday visa holder, or someone with caring support work experience. My partner will stay regularly too, and he also helps out.
The building I’m looking at is stunning, with a 15-meter lap pool, gym, sauna, and other amenities. The apartment is spacious and beautifully designed.
~ Ideally looking for someone with a love of cooking, who enjoys creating nourishing, beautiful meals.
~ References and a police check will be required down the track if we move forward.
Feel free to DM me if you would like to express interest!

I’m currently exploring a live-in support arrangement in a beautiful split-level apartment in Potts Point. In exchange for around 18–20 hours/week of light support (approx. 2–3 hrs/day), you’d have rent-free use of the top floor — including your own bedroom, ensuite bathroom, and study — in a calm, well-designed home.
💡 Support Includes:
• Cooking, and some cleaning and tidying to help keep the space calm and functional — a love of cooking being the most important aspect!
• Help getting to the pool or appointments
• Minimal personal care (e.g., handing me things) — no intensive personal care support
• Flexible routine, with mutual respect and clear boundaries
• Possibility of paid hours in future (not guaranteed)
👋 About Me:
I’m a friendly, professional 40-year-old woman living with a disability. I use crutches or a wheelchair depending on the day, and often need support with domestic tasks like cooking. This role is perfect for someone who finds joy in making healthy, beautiful food — and I’m open to sharing meals and ingredients where it feels natural.
🧳 Travel Flexibility:
My partner will stay with me part of the year and may cover support during any time off or holidays you’d like to take (unpaid, simply to help maintain continuity). I understand the importance of travel and would be happy to support it where I can.

Let me know if it sounds like a good fit — I’d love to connect.
Experience with disability is a bonus but not essential.
If you love to cook — and already cook for yourself every day — you'd be a great fit for this role. I'm happy to explore sharing meals and ingredients, so in many ways this is just about making a little extra of the food we both enjoy.
This would be less like being a traditional “carer” and more like being a thoughtful, food-loving flatmate — someone who enjoys creating a beautiful, nourishing home together.
