Home Description

Description of the home

This is a light filled apartment in the heart of Potts Point with sweeping views over Elizabeth Bay, available for a tidy and easygoing flatmate. Ideally looking for a permanent flatmate, but happy to consider commuters for part week rental as well.

The apartment is warm in winter and cool in summer, comfortable, and well set up for shared living. You’ll have access to the open plan living, dining and kitchen areas, a shared bathroom with shower and bath, washing machine and dryer, and a balcony overlooking the harbour, perfect for morning coffee or winding down in the evening.

It’s a relaxed, friendly and tidy home in one of the best spots in the area. It’s peaceful, with the sound of water lapping from the harbour just steps away. Rushcutters Bay and Beare Park are an easy stroll, and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. The CBD is also an easy 25 minute walk.

The flat has fast WiFi, a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, laundry facilities in the flat, and everything you need to feel at home.

The room is suitable for one person only.

About occupants
I’m 45 and live a fairly active life. During the week I’m either in the office or working from home, and after hours I like to get to the gym, catch up with friends, explore Sydney’s culture, or head off on a trip. I keep my home simple, clean and organised. I’m happy to share the space with someone who’s independent, friendly, clean and tidy. Someone over 30 would probably be a better fit for the setup.
Compatible people
I’m looking for someone easygoing, respectful and self sufficient, whether you need a place full time or just a few nights a week. The flat would suit someone independent but friendly, who’s comfortable doing their own thing while still being able to talk and share the space easily at home. The room is suitable for single occupancy only. I’m pretty tidy and clean, so someone with a similar approach to shared spaces would be the best fit.
