You’ll be sharing the space with just me — no partner, no pets, no drama. I’m a semi-retired Chemical Engineer who moonlights once a week at a bottle shop (yes, I can recommend a decent Shiraz). I usually roll in around 8:30pm, just in time to avoid cooking dinner — which is a public service, really. I’m a terrible cook and prefer not to share meals because I like you alive.
The apartment is clean and tidy, but I’m not a neat freak. Life happens — sometimes it happens with crumbs. I’m super social, have a great bunch of friends (mostly younger, which keeps me on my toes), and I’m often out visiting or gallivanting. So if you enjoy your own space and a home that’s more peaceful than packed, we’ll get along famously.
If you’re friendly, respectful, and can laugh at bad jokes (or at least pretend to), let’s chat!
You’re employed (or otherwise financially stable), honest, and reliable. You don’t need to be a social butterfly, but you’re friendly, open-minded, and happy to share a laugh over a glass of wine — or a story about my latest attempt at cooking (spoiler: it didn’t go well).
Bonus points if you:
- Appreciate a peaceful home base but don’t mind a bit of friendly chatter
- Can recommend a good local café or streaming gem
- Don’t mind the occasional visitor or two (my friends are lovely, I promise)
- Have a sense of humour and don’t take life too seriously
If this sounds like your kind of setup, let’s connect and see if we click. I’m all about good energy, mutual respect, and making home feel like a place you actually want to come back to.
