Home Description

Description of the home

2 min away from Roseville train station (one stop from chatswood at the metro), close to roseville cinema and shops, this apartment has high ceilings and picture rails throughout, an enormous and private balcony with views out to the blue mountains on a clear day. Large comfortable living room with lots of natural light and air conditioning and fans throughout.

We are the only tenant in the building most of the time so it’s very quiet despite being so close to the main road and public transport. There is also a prize-winning bakery a few doors down so you will never be more than 2 minutes from croissants, pastries and the best bread you have ever had.

About occupants
My name is Khat, I am 37, single, bi, lady who loves all things arty-farty. I am love a thrift adventure, weekend market, sewing, painting or crafting, and watching movies and tv shows of both high and low quality.

I am a non-smoker and rarely drink but will be tempted into a gin and tonic and a good end of day debrief.

I am taking some time off to look after my health so am often pottering around the house or garden with Milo.

Milo is the senior husky of the manor who spends most of her time doing a great impression of a floor rug. She is affectionate, independent, gentle and almost entirely silent apart from the tap of her toes when she wanders down the hall and she tends to dance in anticipation of a walk or park visit.
Compatible people
Looking for a kind, considerate, communicative flatmate who is looking for a relaxed sanctuary. Must love animals and is happy to do their bit in keeping communal spaces clean and tidy. Would ideally love someone who is working full-time as I am home a fair bit. Would love someone who is independent and happy to socialise whilst being respectful of shared spaces

Happy to consider a cheaper rent rate also if you are happy to cover the lions share of chores and/or cooking. I sometimes experience periods of fatigue so happy to discuss an arrangement that works for us both.
Description of pets
I have a 18 year old friendly husky named Milo. She is very quiet, sweet, great with kids and most other animals. Milo spends most of her time napping in my room or the living room. She is not particularly jumpy and whilst she loves a good pat and sunbake with you if you are around she is more likely to be snoozing nearby rather than begging for your attention.
