Home Description

Description of the home

** SPACIOUS HOUSE FOR ANIMAL LOVER IN WESTERN SYDNEY **

📍Shalvey (7 min walk to bus stop, 15 min walk to Woollies)
🗓️ Available Feb 2
Total houses rent (for transparency) $550 per week
💲275 per week (two rooms included. Gas/Electricity/Water are split equally – approx. $620 p/q)
🏡 4 bedder – and yes, you get 2 rooms just for you (beds 1 and 3 in the floor plan)! Queen size bed base available on request.
✔️Extra inclusions: front garden, off-street car space, air con, dishwasher, washer and dryer, and a bath!
👤 Just one housemate: A 30-year-old queer introvert who keeps mostly to himself. I’m studying to be a vet nurse with the intention of specialising in avian surgery as a vet so I’m mostly always working/studying/on the road.
🚫 No TERFs, no bigotry, no racism, no transphobia. This is non-negotiable — the home is intended to be a safe, respectful space for everyone living here.
🐦Pets: I have pet, breeding, and rescue birds who can sometimes be loud in the mornings and evenings (some are my forever birds, others will find their forever home with others). They have their own separate space, but you’ll occasionally receive a wonderful compliment boost from them when you walk past—either an “I love you” or a wolf whistle! The rental agency has approved cats and birds but unfortunately no pet dogs.
♻️ You’d be the perfect fit if you are resource conscious and want to occasionally help with the garden (especially if you want to add some edible plants to the collection!) I take care of the lawns and handyman tasks—e.g. I have upgraded the shower and installed a dishwasher to make the house more suitable for (my) the neurodivergent community
