Summer Hill

The room is available on the 31st May and I am open to shorter and longer stays. $270 for 1 person or $370 for 2, which includes fast internet, toilet paper (who gives a crap), and cleaning (I clean at least once a week, you are responsible for cleaning your own room). Electricity and gas are not included. There is a chance that the rent is increased in July, but this shouldn't be anymore than $25.

The bedroom is on the smaller side, but it comes with a double bed, pillows and linen/towels, a desk, a small side table, and a large wardrobe that has good storage. The room has been recently painted with timber floors and high ceilings. I very rarely use the lounge room so this would mostly be your space to use.

While I do the cleaning of the main areas, I do expect you to clean up after yourself; wash up dishes, wipe down benches and put things away after you have used them and know how to respect the house and their flatmate. I understand that sometimes we get busy and tired, and things get left from time to time which is totally fine, but if you fundamentally don't care about living in a clean and tidy space then this might not be the place for you.

This is not a party house in any way. I value living in a quiet and peaceful home, and I am looking for someone or two people who are quiet and respectful of the space. I burn essential oils and Japanese incense and often have lovely-smelling flowers around, so if you don't like smells like this then that might not work either.

My last two flatmates were from Japan and South Korea and this worked really well as we have similar ways of living in the space, are quite introverted, respectful of the common areas and yet happy to have a chat every now and then. I am also very interested in your culture and food and would love to learn more :)

I also have a old man ginger cat called George, so must like cats and he likes pats and will try and trick you to feed him multiple times a day as it is his favourite thing in the world. Unfortunately there is no space for more pets.
