A few minutes walk in one direction will put you in the heart of the cafes, bars and shops of Crown Street and 5 minutes in the other will take you to Central station. Set on a quiet street, it is perfectly placed within the action, without the noise.

Bills and expenses

Gas, electricity and internet ($25 each) are split evenly. Shared cost of the usual household goods. There is a car space in a secure underground carpark but is currently rented, it is $90 per week if you would like to use it.

About the occupants
I'm Steph, I'm 33 and am a full time professional working locally in Surry. Originally from Adelaide but I've called Sydney home for 7 years now. I'm out and about most of the time, catching up with friends in the area, attempting to keep fit (I'm usually convinced to try the latest fitness fad but running and pilates are a constant) or taking Italian classes.

I've lived in the building for 4 years and love it. It's a really nice vibe and I now count many of my neighbours as friends. I enjoy trying all the latest bars, restaurants and cafes in the area. When I'm home I enjoy cooking (particularly baking, so if you're a sweet tooth we will get along just fine), a cheeky wine on the couch and watching the occasional film. I enjoy going out but never bring the party home, although my current housemate and I are famous for hosting the occasional dinner party. I am clean and tidy and take pride in creating a home and hope that you would in the shared spaces too.

Sadly I'm losing my great housemate of two years as she is moving in with her boyfriend, so in her place I'm looking for a friendly and considerate person who will enjoy living in this home as much as I do. The usual characteristics - clean and tidy, respectful of each other's privacy and talking about issues as they arise are all important. I'd love to get to know my new housemate, share the occasional drink or cup of tea at the end of a long day, but also respect each others space.
