Home Description
Description of the home
Furnished 2 bedroom terrace house in an excellent Surry Hills location. Split over two levels, it has wooden floors, gas cooker, reverse cycle air conditioning (downstairs only) and a cute sunny courtyard out the back. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. The house is fully furnished so you would just need furniture for your bedroom. A parking permit is available for on-street parking but you'll need to arrange this yourself with the council.
The house is on a small, quiet street, opposite a small park but just minutes away from bars, pubs and restaurants. Crown and Oxford Streets are just a short stroll away. 10 minutes' walk from Central and Museum stations and plenty of buses are also nearby.

I'm into all the usual stuff. I enjoy sharing good food and wine (but beer is my true love!) with good company. I like having people over for food and/or drinks when I have the energy. I'm into my yoga and exercise. Things that make me happy include trips away, the beach, gigs, hiking and attempting to string together a conversation in Spanish (was learning but now it’s very rusty). Prefer music over TV (but still enjoy zoning out over a good panel show or some trashy entertainment). Used to be a bit of a clubber and still enjoy the odd night out dancing but my party days are a bit more few and far between now. Love going out and socialising with friends but am equally happy to chill at home watching a movie, reading or listening to music. Originally from Canberra, I'm pretty well travelled and spent nine years living in London.
On top of that would expect all the standard stuff out of a roommate - considerate, easy-going and tidy. I like open-minded, drama-free people who respect belongings and space, as I would yours, pay bills on time and be happy to pitch in with the cleaning without the need for a roster or anything regimented.
