Quiet & Private Room in Ultimo – $450/week (Parking Optional)
Hi! I'm looking for a housemate to share my two-storey unit in Ultimo. The location is very convenient—just a 6-minute walk to the Exhibition Centre Light Rail and 3 minutes to the nearest bus stop.
🏠 The layout:
The unit is split over two floors.
You'll be staying on the first floor, which includes your private bedroom, the living room, and the kitchen.
I stay on the second floor, where the bathroom and separate toilet are located.
Just two people live in the house—each on their own floor—so there's a strong sense of personal space and privacy.
I work nearby and value a quiet, respectful home. No parties or loud gatherings—just a peaceful environment, ideal for resting after work or studying.
🛋️ The place is clean and simple. Not heavily decorated, but functional and quiet.
Currently, the living room doesn’t have a sofa due to a replacement, but a new one is on the way soon.
💰 Rent is $450 per week, or $500 per week if you’d like the parking space.
For transparency: the total rent for the unit is $900/week, so this is an exact 50/50 split—fair and straightforward.
⚡️ Electricity is shared every 3 months and usually comes to under $300 in total. We don’t use many energy-heavy appliances, so bills are quite reasonable.
👥 If you're a couple, you’d be staying in the upstairs room (with more space and direct access to the bathroom).
The rent for a couple is $520 per week, or $570 per week with parking.
