The room comes fully furnished with comfy double bed with sheets, pillows, blankets and towels. Wardrobe with drawers and comfy chair. Can put in a desk and or a chest of drawers if required. A lovely clean/fresh room. Depending on the increase in water and electricity usage, the bills may not be that great. We try to be efficient with our energy usage.

Description of the home

My home is a fully renovated, heritage listed, cottage on the edge of the Royal National Park in Waterfall. It has three bedrooms downstairs and a loft bedroom upstairs which I use as an office. The house is a friendly space with great neighbours, lots of various outdoor areas to dine a court yard, a back yard, a covered pergola and the lawn with approximately five fruit / nut trees. Plenty of bush walking available right at the back door, or on the other side of Waterfall for a longer trip.

Bills and expenses

Bills are shared. Electricity is quite low, as I have solar hot water heating, which is usually approximately $80-$90 per quarter for person, water is quite low approx $40 a quarter - we are very environmentally aware and try and use as little as possible. The internet/WIFI is included in the rental price. The cleaning of the common areas is done by everyone in the house - reasonable cleanliness of own room, clothing, sheets/towels etc, however there would be a cleaning fee if necessary.
We are responsible for own buying/preparing own food and cleaning up afterwards... However I have been supplying salt, pepper, spices etc.

My name is Bronwyn and am the owner of the home. I work full time for NSW Government. I love gardening and spending time with my friends and family. My child, who is 18 lives with me and is working full time. They love mountain bike riding and bushwalking and hanging out with our dog, Maggie Mae.

I have had a few people stay in our home and each have been very considerate of the others living in the house, respectful and caring. These are all qualities I am hoping to find in our next tenant
Description of pets
Maggie Mae, is a cross mini poodle/kelpie - gorgeous natured dog and we love walking with her every day. Very happy to play with everyone
