Home Description

Description of the home

This bright & airy Waterloo apartment is the perfect set-up for 2 roomies with its large open plan living space and bedrooms at oppositie ends of flat, each with their own bathrooms.

The secure building has a well-kitted out gym, 25m pool and a sauna.

The location is hard to beat. It's a short walk to Redfern and Surry Hills. We've got a bus stop on our doorstep, and other transport options (train, metro, trams) are all within walking distance.

Coles & Aldi are right around the corner as are a couple of good cafes, including Kepos Street Kitchen and Noble Roasters.

I have a car spot available until the end of the year. After that you'd need to park on the street (or you could rent something closeby).

About occupants
Hey there. I'm Michelle. The Redfern/Waterloo area has been home for a while now and I love it – such a great community, and so close to everything.

I’m a digital marketing professional who works for an organisation with purpose. Just so you know, I do WFH 3 days / week, but there is a separate office in the house, which you’d be welcome to use on the days I’m in the city. (I also pay a bit more for electricity for this reason).

I’m naturally outgoing but pretty low-key as a flatmate. I like to share a clean, calm space to relax in during the week.

The weekends are a mix of gigs, brunches, pubs and sometimes a bit of culcha.
Compatible people
Looking for someone who treats a flat like a home, not just a place to sleep.

Ideally you're easy-going, keep shared spaces clean, and are up for a chat and maybe a shared meal when the mood strikes.

A good fit here is someone who pulls their weight without being asked and isn't running a revolving door of overnight guests :-)
Description of pets
My 13 yo pugalier, Guapa, is super chill and very quiet. She’s a lovely dog but she is very hairy and would push me over a cliff for a sandwich. If you’re a dog person, then you’ll love her.
