We are looking for a new flatmate to occupy the space of the bedroom with city views as the actual flatmate is going home for Christmas.

Looking for someone who is respectful, considerate of noise and keeps a clean and tidy living space. This is not a party house and we are non-smokers.

Anssi is a sustainability-driven bachelor of engineering in material science and graduate with a double master's degree in MBA and global project management. Originally from Finland, now a permanent resident of Australia. Considers himself an easygoing, independent ambivert who is respectful of others' privacy, enjoys sharing a meal occasionally and can cook a delicious rum flamed salmon pasta but lately has been way too keen on GYG takeaways. Anssi enjoys the occasional round of golf and sailing as a part-time professional sailor and a keelboat sailing & racing instructor. In the wintertime, looking forward to trips to the snow for telemark skiing in the backcountry.

You'll understand the importance of integrity, consideration and respect towards your flatmates and the fact that kind attracts kind and what you give generally is reciprocated.

We hope you are mature enough to discuss any relevant topic in a civil manner, and are able to voice out your needs. We have gained experience with very conflict avoidant house mates, and can conclude that healthy amount of conflict and related resolution is much preferred than a flatmate bottling up any negative feels.

We're not much of party animals and rather quiet evenings with dinners and chill. Once out of covid-times, we'd love you to be welcoming a mixed group of friends occasionally joining us for civil dinner cook-ins with intellectually stimulating discussions. Non-smokers and generally health-oriented applicants preferred.

A compatible flatmate might recognize themselves as being house proud and liking to contribute towards having their home clean, you too might be allergic for any dishes left in the sink. Culturally aware of possibly minimalistic and direct Scandinavian communication styles is a plus.

A short-tailed, long-hair, mixed-breed rescue cat named Pippa is the house mascot. She is people-friendly and social, might want to follow you to the bathroom to make sure you’re safe 🐯
