Home Description
Description of the home
Great modern 3 bedroom house with a spacious inner courtyard and sundeck.
Spacious kitchen w/ large sliding windows and lounge area w/ 3-pane sliding doors open up to the inner courtyard w/bbq and terrace furniture. We've been told that these pictures do no justice to the place itself. Sliding doors and sliding windows open up the kitchen and lounge area for entertainment with friends and guests.
The house was renovated approximately 10 years ago with a new kitchen and bathroom. We have a lock-up garage (currently occupied), and 24hr guest parking passes available.
Large and airy with ample natural light, hardwood floorboards downstairs, high ceilings, and a large private courtyard for entertaining. Fabulously located in the heart of Potts Point, Woolloomooloo, Darlinghurst, at the William Street end of McElhone St, with city views from the upper level. Gyms are literally around the corner. Tennis and basketball courts are just 200m down the street.
We have flexibly shared one large bathroom with a shower and bath upstairs and a guest toilet/powder room downstairs.
Conveniently located on the fringe of the CBD close to public transport or with an easy walk to the city, Garden Island, galleries, Domain parklands, Harbour foreshores, and just a stone's throw to vibrant Potts Point & Woolloomooloo Bay Finger Wharf's bars and restaurants for all foodies!
A well mannered and kind long haired, short tailed Pippa-cat enjoys her days in this home.

We are looking for a new flatmate to occupy the space of the bedroom with city views as the actual flatmate is going home for Christmas.
Looking for someone who is respectful, considerate of noise and keeps a clean and tidy living space. This is not a party house and we are non-smokers.
Anssi is a sustainability-driven bachelor of engineering in material science and graduate with a double master's degree in MBA and global project management. Originally from Finland, now a permanent resident of Australia. Considers himself an easygoing, independent ambivert who is respectful of others' privacy, enjoys sharing a meal occasionally and can cook a delicious rum flamed salmon pasta but lately has been way too keen on GYG takeaways. Anssi enjoys the occasional round of golf and sailing as a part-time professional sailor and a keelboat sailing & racing instructor. In the wintertime, looking forward to trips to the snow for telemark skiing in the backcountry.
Saba says: Hey! I’m a too old to die young professional working in employment relations, but outside the 9-to-5, you’ll usually find me chasing the sun, flipping upside down in a circus gym, twirling fire (yes I have burnt myself already).
I’m an outdoorsy soul with a big love for adventure—whether it’s hiking, powerlifting, beach days, camping or festival.
I thrive on a good laugh with my housemates, I live for a rave but equally love kicking back with a movie and some wineeeeee and cheese. Life’s all about balance - between the daily grind and the good times!
Luisa is 30 and working as a dermatologist. Luisa loves to relax outdoors and spend his free time doing sport and exploring the area.
For us the most important personal qualities are cleanliness, the ability to have a conversation, listen without judgement and an overall sense of enjoyment of company to this home.
We are looking for like-minded flatmates who appreciate a clean home and are considerate, tidy, welcoming for discussions about various topics with friends over a dinner cook-in, but who also prefer quiet week nights.
We prefer those who do not bring a party home. We really like our home to be clean and tidy, and appreciate the 'clean-up-as-you-go' mentality
We'd love you to be self-aware, have a reasonable sense of humour, mature enough to have developed emotional intelligence and compassion. You'll understand the importance of integrity, consideration and respect towards your flatmates and the fact that kind attracts kind and what you give generally is reciprocated.
We hope you are mature enough to discuss any relevant topic in a civil manner, and are able to voice out your needs. We have gained experience with very conflict avoidant house mates, and can conclude that healthy amount of conflict and related resolution is much preferred than a flatmate bottling up any negative feels.
We're not much of party animals and rather quiet evenings with dinners and chill. Once out of covid-times, we'd love you to be welcoming a mixed group of friends occasionally joining us for civil dinner cook-ins with intellectually stimulating discussions. Non-smokers and generally health-oriented applicants preferred.
A compatible flatmate might recognize themselves as being house proud and liking to contribute towards having their home clean, you too might be allergic for any dishes left in the sink. Culturally aware of possibly minimalistic and direct Scandinavian communication styles is a plus.
