This rent is for my caravan and ideally suited to someone using it as a temporary base or as a minors fly-in/fly-out accomodation. The caravan is located to the back of my property. It will have it's own undercover area with a private back yard. There will be access to part of the house to be able to use the bathroom facilities which will be shared with the owner and another tenant.
**Please note that the house is in the process of some minor upgrades, so from time to time there will be some expected activities.

This older style charming house is a typical workers cottage with many spacious extentions, being in walking distance to the main street and supermarkets, cafe's, hospital, park, schools, train and bus station.
Currently the mid-sized bedroom is fully furnished (double bed/mattress, bedsides, dresser, clothes hanger) but can be turned into empty or partially furnished room depending on your needs. The house offers a good size front and backyard.

The kitchen is a generous size and well equipped (sorry no dishwasher) with an open dining space.

The office room can be shared if required but there are other nooks in the house which could be made into additional work/office space.

The bathroom is basic with a shower over bath and just had a small upgrade to excentuade the old world charme of the cottage.

The living room is cozy with a comfortable new L-shaped lounge and TV as well as air-con and ceiling fan.

The sun room is generous in size, very bright and airy and is in the process to be turned into a guest/hobby room.

There is an external laundry with washing machine and rotary clothes line in the backyard.

Most rooms have newly installed ceiling fans and light fittings and been painted throughout.

The house is a queenslander workers cottage typical of Charters Towers. It offers charming features of the era with updated and upgrated features bringing it into today's standards..

** Please note that the house is in the process of a TLC make-over (most if the internal changes have been completed) so I would like to invite someone who embraces the old world features and the charme this lovely old cottage has to offer and someone who enjoys watching its transformtion bringing this old lady back to her glorious days.

Bills and expenses

I'm a female with a colourful background in retail, tourism and the creative field, embracing new opportunities, community and country life.

While new to the area, I fell in love with Charters Towers and the cottage obtained. So I decided to change initial plans and to spend more time in this beautiful area and keep renovating this beautiful old Queenslander home.

My current occupation is in tourism and hospitality and I'm currently commuting to Airlie Beach while upgrading the house on my days off.

I'm quite a social person, but equally enjoying quiet time alone. I respect peoples privacy and wish to find someone who has similar values being respectful and responsible.
I enjoy deep and meaningful conversations over a nice home cooked meal and a glass of wine as much as a quick banter or time alone.

The tenant will have the house mainly to themselves while I'm away at work. When back, I try to get as much done as possible around the property to bring it back to its glory (these are now mostly small upgrades).

Ideally you will be taking pride of your home and belongings so clean and tidy is desirable, balanced by an easy going personality.

Ideally you will be working part or full-time or studying.

Cleaning duties will be respectfully shared and can be arranged disgussed depending on the circumstances.
