The room available is classified as the master as it contains a small balcony roughly 50cm wide with floor to ceiling singular sliding glass window door. There is a huge built-in-robe which extends almost the entire width of the bedroom with 3 sliding mirrored doors. There is also a reverse cycle air conditioner to take care of cooling + heating. The ensuite contains dual shower head shower plus rain water filled toilet for extra water saving. Currently the room is available as a semi furnished room which includes queen bedframe with under bed storage, a queen mattress (as pictured), a shelving unit at the end of the bed, plus a small shelf to fit the limited available space within the ensuite as there isn't a great deal of storage space/ shelfing built into the ensuites. Would prefer to rent out with current bedframe included, but happy ditch what ever is not required.

Description of the home

Located in a quite pocket within the newly developed Yarra Bend estate, this modern townhouse is split across 3 levels. Ground level plays host to a single car garage (I don't own a car, so there is room for you to park a small hatch back) plus shared study space perfect for WFH with stand alone toilet and hidden laundry with separate washer + dryer. My old housemate has left his desk (See pictures), so if its something you like, then all you need to bring is a desk chair. Moving on up to level 1 you will find an open planned kitchen, dining and living room with extended outdoor balcony area. Kitchen features modern gas cook top, built-in dishwasher, fridge and wall mounted oven with an abundance of cupboard space meaning you get your own pantry. I also have a small Weber BBQ out on the balcony to use. Up on level 2 you will find the two bedrooms which are basically identical in size each with their own identical ensuites.

Alphington train station is exactly a 750m walk which roughly takes 8min. It takes less then 25min on the train to get to the city. If you are outdoorsy and into fitness then there is also an abundance of green space and parklands close by with the Alphington Park and Oval within 100m from the door or the Yarra River/ Yarra Trails less then 800m. Darebin Park is also just around the corner, with the Alphington Farmers market on every Sunday.

Mason (29), Full time freelance photographer as of February this year. A majority of my work mainly revolves around cycling as that is one of my biggest passions and hobbies. So yes, I spend a fair bit of time working from home. I'm also a keen cyclist myself, yet have recently found/ taken up running. Outside of cycling and photography, I'm a huge Formula 1 fan and will watch every race live if possible. I do enjoy a nice relaxing afternoon on the balcony (In summer) from time to time socialising with mates (or housemate for that matter) over a nice cold beer or glass of red. I'm not much of a party goer and I like to keep my place presentable and respectable (everyone always comments on how tidy my place is), though I do enjoy the very rare and occasional night out for a few drinks from time to time. While I don't have any pets (could be open to that), I do take pride in my small jungle of houseplants.
