Description of the home

We have a fabulous house to share with the right person. A grand double fronted Victorian weatherboard home situated on a huge double block. The house is very well maintained because I am a fussy carpenter and it is a lovely comfortable house. The living spaces are huge and the house is decorated and very cosy. Their is a large garden to enjoy and look into from lots of locations. There are high ceilings with fabulous chandeliers throughout the house. The kitchen is fabulous, has lots of drawers and cupboards plus a large pantry. We have a large fridge with a frost-free freezer. The house has central (floor) heating. Stencilled floorboards lead into the lounge area. A spacious house with a second open lounge next to the kitchen.

My partner Paloma lives here and I spend half the week working in Melbourne as well as Ballarat. Paloma has a workshop out the back where she makes her shoe designs. I am a carpenter and do maintenance restorations. We are both artists and often have to rush out to our workshops and put that piece of art together at the spur of the moment. We love vintage furniture and have a beautiful art-deco couch and chairs in the main loungeroom. With a little ledge on the arm rests for a relaxing TV drink you will love being here. A bathroom with separate large shower and a medium size bath. The bathroom is very pretty and must be kept clean for the enjoyment of everyone. The house has a spare toilet out the back beneath a large undercover deck area.

We have public transport accessible within just a 55 metre walk. V/line train services are just 1.2 kilometres from here so just a 20 minute stroll!
