Description of the home

This lovely one bedroom cottage doesn't come up often. As the owner who is a writer, meditator, traveler and nature lover who lives next door, I'm looking for someone who is a good fit and who will love living in this special place. The cottage has river frontage and bush walking trails in front of it. I'm ok with a small dog but there are no fences around the property and a lot of wildlife around. Blackwood is 80km from Melbourne the nearest train station is Ballan Station (20 min drive away). The cottage is on the same property as the owner but completely separate. You will need a car. It's a 5 minute walk to Blackwood Town Centre, Pub, cafe and Post Office. It's 10 minutes drive to Trentham the closest petrol station and supermarket.

Bills are included except for WIFI which is Starlink and available for you to connect to. All tenants will have an agreement, references are required and one month's security deposit.

Bills and expenses

Bills are electricity, water and WIFI. Water and WIFI are split evenly. Electricity is split fairly. Mainly it is evenly shared, but for example if either place is vacant for a month or more it will be taken into account. Both places have new split systems and there are solar panels and the bills vary according to season.
