My name is Ynys (Pronounced like innes).
I am 32, studying psychology at Latrobe Uni, queer, neurodivergent, friendly and spend most of my free time reading. I have an extensive history with sharehouses, I have lived in my current sharehouse for 3+ years, and am only looking for a new place because it has been sold and we have all been evicted.
I have a shy cat, who broke into my house and now I couldn't bear to leave her. She unfortunately doesn't get along with other pets :( but is fine with people. (I am a bit worried about finding a house with a cat, as I have never had to before).
I am quiet, tidy, happy with cleaning rosters, prioritise respect, kindness and compassion in how I relate to others, and meditate daily for self-regulation and growth purposes.

Compatible people
I am open to living with all sorts of people, as long as we're respectful of each other then there's usually been no issues for me historically. When issues have arisen, I've found that being able to directly communicate when there's a problem, rather than sitting on it and let resentment build, is integral to keeping the household healthy and stress-free.
Food sharing and furniture
I am vegan. Happy to share if we use common resources! But I have a lot of food allergies so tend to have a fairly restricted diet. I meal prep all at once each week and then usually just eat that for most of my meals, so don't use the kitchen a whole lot except for reheating meals or making teas or raiding for snacks.
Description of pets
She is a shy, 5 year old cat. She spends most of her time in my room, but likes to haunt the area outside my doorway too. She is friendly with people but dislikes other pets unfortunately.
