I’m Ellie (27) from the UK and my boyfriend Sam (29) have just arrived in Perth after a 3 month road trip across Australia. We’re looking to stay here for around 3 months until my visa expires after spending nearly 2 years in Australia. We’ll both be working to save money for our next adventure but also enjoy socialising. We like to spend tome relaxing watching a box set or film, Sam likes to cook and we both enjoy going to cafes and pubs and will be happy to find a flatmate who would want to join. But we don’t want to live in a party house, just somewhere chilled to call home for the next few months.
Important personal qualities
We’ve lived with different people before. We like to live with someone who is sociable and we can spend nights in together or make plans. In my last photo I’ve included a picture of me and my last housemate and we used to regularly plan activities together. As it will be our first time in Perth it would be nice to live with someone who would want to show us around the city if they have time.
Food sharing and furniture
We typically buy our own food and do our own cooking (and cleaning up after) but we’re happy to do a family/house dinner once a week and cook for everyone to get to know each other better and socialise. We don’t have any furniture so ideally we would want a furnished room.
