Home Description

Description of the home

A great, updated 3 bedroom house, only a short walk to catch the bus to the city (runs regularly on weekdays and weekends) and Norwood, and a 5 min drive to the Magill Uni SA campus. Also close to Morialta falls, a number of gyms, lots of shops including some great European and Asian food stores.

The room for rent has a large BIR, but is not furnished. The rest of the house is furnished, but with room to incorporate some furniture if you have your own. The third bedroom is set-up as an office / study which can be shared. There is a large back yard, and an under cover patio area with an outdoor table.

About the occupants
Hi there! My name is Dot, I am 31 years old, working in nutrition/health and have also just started studying this year. This means that I live quite a busy life, fitting in both work and study. Outside of work and study I like to keep fit, get out for walks in the area (it's a beautiful area and Morialta falls is close by), socialise with friends exploring Adelaide's bars and restaurants, and I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen. I also love music (I like to have music playing at home), and heading to live gigs.

I've been living alone for the past couple of years, which I've enjoyed, but now that I've started studying living on a budget means that I need to find a housemate. I am looking forward to having someone the share the space with and not always coming home to an empty house!
Compatible people
I am looking for a bright, friendly, positive, independent and easy-going person (no drama please, I have enough stress with the work/study combo). I like to keep my house clean and tidy without too much clutter, but I'm not over the top about it. So I'm looking for someone with the same attitude, who is tidy, considerate (cleans up after themselves), and will do their bit to keep the home clean and tidy. I think friendship and getting along with a housemate is important, but we also need to respect each others space and privacy. This is particularly important for me as I'm going to be spending a lot of time studying this year. Having said that, I am a very social person and will rarely say no to a chat.
