Private bedroom
- Shared bathroom
- Wardrobe or rack
- Air-conditioner
- Ceiling fan
- Use of separate room
You have the option of using the double bed already in the room, but if you wanted to bring in your own that’s possible. There’s a drawer for your clothes, and a portable clothes rack you can use also. There’s plenty of space to add a desk, however, there’s also the *computer room* adjacent to the front room which currently basically only has a desk with my stuff in it and some other miscellaneous furniture. This can be moved around and reconfigured, where if needed, you could have your own study area set up there/place to put things other than your bedroom. But the bedroom itself is quite large. Note, it has both a ceiling fan and also vented heating/cooling. It's particularly suited for the warmer weather and the house itself does a pretty good job of keeping temperature in.
Home Description
Description of the home
It’s easy to forget you’re so close to the city given its tranquility, this house is in a fantastic location in North Adelaide within walking distance to the city (or bus or cycling), across from the paddock with quiet suburbs surrounding it. The house is large enough to work around differing schedules, and includes a back *garage* which currently is used to store bikes away from the rain - if you have a small car, you could park it there, however there is also ample untimed on-street parking. The house is entirely furnished, including a lovely (if I do say so myself) large cozy front room and fully decked-out kitchen and dining table. Given the size, this is the kind of house you can invite friends to visit without feeling like you’re aching for more space!
A solid traditional brick house, it has been retrofitted with modern air conditioning and heating, with spacious room. Your bedroom is rather large, and located next to the bathroom. Although there is only one full bathroom downstairs, my upstairs bedroom has a toilet & sink ensuite, so you’d have it mostly to yourself.
Overall, it’s a lovely house that’s lovingly unique, and I’ve really enjoyed living in it over the past year. I’d like to share it with you, and give you an opportunity to enjoy it too.
PS: I'm not a property agent, I really do just write like that!

My schedule is mostly dominated around my support work two days a week, which can go reasonably late. If you’re an early riser, that’s no problem, as the house is large enough to work around differing schedules. I also have lifeguarding work intermittently throughout the week. I may occasionally have a small gathering of friends over, and you’d be welcome to do the same.
I’m very open-minded and accepting of all different strokes and stripes of people - I have had female, male, and non-binary housemates before. I like to both keep to myself, whether that’s in my books or computer - but also be sociable - chat, catch up with friends, go on adventures, have board game nights. I respect people who are kind and who have good abilities to communicate, and I believe I demonstrate those things. I’m the kind of person who will happily share the details of my life if asked, but if you’d prefer to keep more private, I’m also entirely fine with that.
I enjoy cooking, and would be happy to share meals if that’s something you’d be interested in too!
Overall, I consider myself a friendly person eager to share a roof with, most of my friends call me a "labrador-type" guy, which I think is a compliment :D
