Description of the home

The unit is completely new inside and is fully furnished with all new furniture and appliances, it was completed in November 2025.

I am the only other person living in the unit; I am a school teacher and am presently working away from Adelaide until the end of this year and possibly next year as well. I only visit the unit every three to five weeks for only a few nights and sometimes I stay for a week or so during school holidays. So 95% of the time, you will have the unit to yourself.

I am looking for housemate/s who have full time work, preferably professionals, who have no children and no pets.
They will need to be respectful and look after the property and have references that reflect this. They will be responsible for the power bills and I will cover the water bills. There is no real gardening to do, just some watering of a few trees/pot plants.

The bedroom for rent has a new queen bed, you will need to bring your own linen (and your own towels), a built in floor to ceiling double wardrobe and bedside tables. It has a split system in it and there is also one in the open lounge, kitchen/dining area.

It will possible to move in from 22nd April.

The unit is in walking distance to Brickworks Market Place and to public transport to get into the city.

Bills and expenses

You would be responsible for the full electricity bill, I will cover the water usage bill up to a reasonable amount to be discussed), there is no gas bill or cleaner and the internet would have to be discussed.
