About occupants
We are a family, mum and four kids ages 5-14. I have a girlfriend who doesn’t live in the home. The four kids live here alternate weeks only - the other weeks it is just me. The kids are are school and I work during the day. We are up around 6:30 and in bed by 9:30. The noise of the four kids can be loud for someone not used to children. It’s a noisy happy children sound but important to be aware of. We are quiet and in bed between 9 and 6. On the weekends we are generally up around 8. We are in and out in the afternoons when the kids are here and eat dinner around 6:30 usually. We have family and friends over but would not be socialising here after about 10pm (and usually no later than 8pm). During the weeks that the kids are with their Dad it is very quiet. I work and exercise and cook and read and am out quite a bit.
Compatible people
We are looking for a single woman. You will have your own room and share all the other parts of the house. The bathroom is shared.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who is used to having children around. While there is obviously no childcare related to this room, someone who has a blue card or police check would be an advantage to me as a safety check for the kids. There are 'peak times' when the house can be particularly busy (usually 6:30-8am and 4-7pm). Lots of traffic for the bathroom, kitchen etc at these times.

Our yard is not dog-secure and with the kids around, dogs are likely to be tricky. Cats would be ok if they would be ok around children.

Only on-street parking available.

Your friends of course would be very welcome in our home. But large gatherings or late-night noisy gatherings would not really fit with the house or our lifestyle (Except on an occasional basis and in discussion). Also, it would be important that you be respectful of the fact that there are children living in the house when thinking about having friends and partners at home.
