Big backyard, and plenty of room for entertainment.

1 bedroom furnished/unfurnished. Up to you. Split utility bills & internet. Off street/curb or drive way parking.

Periods of alone time and the house entirely yours (you’ll need to mow the lawns when I’m away) as i will be travelling a lot. Bus stop down the end of the street, or 5 minute walk to train station. You can car pool with me on the days I drive in (I have a car space in the city).

5 Minute walk to Morningside shopping complex.

This place is a rental, so you’ll have to go on a lease (I’ll sort that with the real estate).

I am a 34yr old professional, committed to my career and ongoing study. I’m a pretty placid character, who enjoys a wine and dabbling in the simpler things in life.

Honestly, I’m pretty chill.

Change in role/employer will see me away from home for decent periods. Ideally looking for a house mate, who will be here for most of those times away.
I mix up my work week (office/WFH), although that could change with all my work travel soon.

I own a small farm up near Gladstone, so get up there often to work from there and potter about.
Compatible people
A good flatmate to me is someone who has a focus, and can hold a conversation.

Also doesn’t mind the occasional shared dinner with someone who appreciates “calm” in the house :)

Ideally you’re looking for a xen/calming sanctuary of your own. You’re a bit of an oldie at heart, and like to be in a clean and well kept home (you’re house proud). You’ll also treat my babes like they’re your own, and know they’re my number 1 priority.
Description of pets
Really keen to make sure you're okay this part - I have two Boston Terriors (very well behaved - Vadar and Wicket) who will need to be looked after when I am away (fed and watered - they don’t need to be walked etc). I've opted for a house share instead of house sitters for this reason.

They are both affectionate, but do respect your space.
