About occupants
Hi, my name is Elena.

I work in an office, and alongside that, I am a dance and Shiatsu therapist, currently studying mental health. I genuinely enjoy learning, developing, and discovering new aspects of life because I'm incredibly curious and passionate.

I have a background in literature and art history, with a thesis in cinema and a postgraduate certificate in Gestalt therapy. I also practice yoga, an important part of how I care for myself and stay grounded.

I love music in all its forms, as well as theater and dance. I’m naturally drawn to meaningful conversations and have a genuine interest in philosophy, psychology, anthropology, sociology, spirituality, well-being, and personal growth.

I live with my son, who studies at UQ, and a very discreet but very affectionate cat. Our home is a calm and respectful space, where I value kindness, openness, and a sense of ease in daily living.

For me, sharing a home is not just about practicality but about creating a peaceful and harmonious environment. I’m looking for someone respectful, sincere, honest, clean, and easy to live with—someone who appreciates mutual understanding, clear communication, and a warm, considerate atmosphere.
Compatible people
A reputable flatmate values respect, honesty, and cleanliness. For me, it’s important to live with someone considerate of shared spaces, easy to communicate with, and reliable. I appreciate people who help create a calm and harmonious home where everyone feels comfortable and at ease.

Being polite, friendly, and responsible makes a big difference in daily living, as does maintaining a positive and respectful attitude. The essentials are simple: paying rent on time, taking care of the house as if it were their own, and treating others with kindness and consideration.
Description of pets
Gatto is a lovely, gentle pet. He doesn’t scratch or bite—if he ever feels uncomfortable, he simply walks away. He really enjoys being petted and starts purring very easily. He’s truly like a natural antidepressant, bringing a calm and comforting presence to the home
