I am a marketing communication professional taking time off to study post graduate Visual Arts at Griffith QCAD in Southbank and focus on my health in this beautiful region. I am currently painting a show for uni next year on the lost and found live music spaces around Brisbane.
I live with my dog Leonardo 10 who is a small 6kg non yappy English Toy Terrier (looks like a mini doberman) - quiet, no odour, low malting, very clean, chilled out and friendly. He sleeps most of the day. Leo loves all humans and will want to hang out with you when I am out. He is very gentle and friendly and will love a cuddle and a scratch if you have one for him. Leonardo is anxious around other animals though, so sadly we cannot welcome any other pets.
Besides spending time with Leonardo and making art and being creative, I love doing tai chi on the bay at Shorncliffe, going to see live music, hikes in the forest, evening and morning walks at the beach or along the nearby creek, volunteering at a community radio station, visiting family and friends, cooking and sharing meals, and other arty, cultural, food-related activities.
I live quite heathily and love eating and cooking fresh food. I'm pretty quiet and don't drink very often or much, 1 or 2 drinks. I am definitely looking for similar. I don't smoke - my housemate needs to be a nonsmoker too.
I enjoy a chat and a laugh. I don't have a tv, but you're welcome to bring yours for your bedroom. I occasionally play music and have a friend over for a few hours, but not often or for long. My 26 y.o. son visits rarely for the weekend from the Gold Coast and stays in the sunroom. He is very polite and congenial and works in financial services.
I would love to find someone to join Leonardo and I to make a really happy and peaceful housemate family. I love my own time and space but I love genuine housemate connection and friendship too. I am still close friends with numerous people I have shared with over the years.
Rent these days is so expensive and this house offers something others don't...space and lifestyle. Life's stressful. Let's get together and enjoy a relaxo safe home life with a happy quiet dog. ππ©·ππΊ
