About occupants
I work full-time.
Compatible people
No smokers. No vapers. No heavy drinkers. No drugos. No pets. No couples. No night owls. No party people. No friends or partners staying over. This is not a fun house. You must be working full-time. Students may be considered. I wake up at 5am every morning. The unit is tiny, the walls are paper thin, so every sound is amplified. The rooms are afew feet away from each other. Even if I try to be as quiet and stealthy as possible, it's impossible not to get woken up by the sound of the sliding door opening, so you will also be waking up at 5am. Unless you're a heavy sleeper. Moreover, I have cleaning OCD's. Notice how clean the unit looks in the photos? It looks like that all the time. I'm meticulous about cleaning. So if you're not into military style living, going to bed early and getting up early and being neat and tidy and quiet, this is not a good fit for you. I'm talking I fold my towels at exactly 90°, squeegee the shower tiles and glass after every shower, check power switches are off before I leave the house, have a panic attack if things are left out or moved type OCD. I know, It's nuts. Unfortunately being batshit crazy doesn't exempt me from having to pay bills. Ergo why I'm on here looking for a flatmate. I don't feel comfortable here, this is not my home, it's the landlord's home. I own a bag of clothes and a matress on the floor and that's it. And the fridge and washing machine which I had to buy. No point wasting hundreds or thousands of dollars on furniture or TVs or luxury items when I know eventually I will have to vacate this unit. And the more crap I own the harder and more annoying it is to move. This is also why I've never owned a pet, it limits your options. The landlord can also decide to sell at any time so you never really know how long you will be in one place. I will probably end up in share accomodation for my next move since I can't see myself affording a unit through a real estate after I leave here. My landord has bumped up my rent to $480 per week, this is why I'm turning once again to Flatmate Finders. I will not attempt to try and sell you on this unit by telling you it has this feature or that feature. It's literally a shoebox with windows. At the end of the day it's just a very tiny, dingey, depressing, overpriced utilitarian hovel with no redeeming features whatsover other than the fact it has running water and electricity.
