ABOUT THE ROOM: the room is large enough for a double bed and bed side table, and has very large double built in wardrobes. Rent is $150 per week. Bills $15/week. Available from now.

ABOUT THE HOUSE: A four bedroom Queenslander in the beautiful suburb of Moorooka - still only a half hour bike ride to the city! Our backyard looks on to the wistful Toohey Forest, and our sunny garden is a semi productive food forest featuring a massive frog pond that used to be a swimming pool (don’t worry it’s also mosquito free).

We are a communal house, i.e. we share all food, meals and chores. We all cook a meal once a week and make enough for everyone in the house.

We are mostly vegetarian but eat a meat dinner once a week.

ABOUT US: We’re four women, and we share food and laughs on a daily basis. We’re early to bed and early to rise - Steph (34 yo), Moira (43 yo) and Ellen (49 yo) have day jobs and love camping, drawing, gardening, playing guitar and hiking in our spare time. Raha is 21 years old, recently arrived in Australia from Iran, is a student at TAFE and loves shopping and photography.

ABOUT YOU: You are progressive and queer friendly. You enjoy communal living and are keen for sharing meals with the house a couple of nights a week. Ideally you’re looking for a place to call home for a while, but we’re also open to short term options (greater than 6 months) for the right person.

Sorry no pets (we’re open to fish)! We love our local lizards and birds too much.
