Nundah

Description of the home

Nundah Workers Cottage. The place has high ceilings and character. It has large trees on the property which makes a nice atmosphere. It is an old house and we have possums and creatures that live on the property.
There is a front verandah and 2 front rooms which are my ‘space’.

There is a lounge and Dinning room and kitchen which are shared space.
The back balcony is also a shared space and has a BBQ. It is wooden and I am in the process of getting it retreated.
There is laundry facilities in the back bathroom which are shared space and- which includes washing machine and dryer. Can’t really hang things outside because of the trees.

House is secure and locked and all windows have secure insect guard. House is fully air conditioned in most rooms with solar. However, the smaller student room does not have air con so relies on air flow from main lounge room. All rooms have their own lock. I have a safe if required. Have a dishwasher in the kitchen.

Two medium sized older dogs live on the property who unfortunately are not cat friendly and we are at capacity of pets for the size of the block. Should be dog friendly. They are also shedding dogs so we cover the couches to minimise hair.

Bills and expenses

Rent includes all bills - includes electricity water and internet provided. TV in each room with some subscription services provided (e.g. Foxtel) and can add your own as you like.
