Home Description
Description of the home
Room available in a character Queenslander at 21 Redfern Street, Woolloongabba, set in a quiet cul-de-sac just a few minutes from the CBD. It’s the kind of spot where you can get into the city quickly for work or study, then come home to somewhere that actually feels calm and removed from the usual inner-city noise.
The house is tucked just off the main strip, so you’re close to everything without being on top of it. Logan Road is a short walk away with plenty of cafés, bars and pubs, plus all the usual conveniences. Buranda bus and train station is also nearby, making it easy to get around Brisbane without needing a car. South Bank and West End are only minutes away as well, so you’ve got easy access to parklands, restaurants and nightlife.
The place itself has a lot of the classic Queenslander charm but has been updated where it counts, with a decent kitchen, comfortable shared living areas and a good outdoor space. The layout gives everyone a bit of separation, so it doesn’t feel cramped.
The room would suit someone easygoing who’s happy to share the space and keep things tidy. It’s a good fit for someone working in the city or nearby, or anyone who wants to be close to everything without living right in the middle of it. It also comes with a kitchenette and is the only room downstairs. As such we're amenable to an occupant looking for their own space, or a share house vibe :)

I’m 24 and work as an aviation analyst. Outside of work, I enjoy swimming, cooking (always happy to share a meal), reading, and a good board game night. I’m also usually up for an after-work drink or a relaxed catch-up.
My sister is 26 and works in law. She’s very active and outdoorsy—she’s the president of a Brisbane university mountaineering and hiking club and spends a lot of her time exploring the outdoors. She’s currently training for triathlons, so she’s often out and about staying active.
We’re both easygoing, social without being over the top, and like to keep a comfortable, tidy home.
