Hello, I'm Shane and looking for a housemate to share a large old brick 4 bedroom house on a large block in Yeronga. I've been here for 10 years and love it.
Yeronga Memorial Park and Pool are just up the road. Coles and Aldi walking distance. Short walk to Yeronga Train Station and a bus stop 100m down the street.
It's a lovely big yard which takes a bit of work to keep in order in the rainy seasons. Nicely shaded out the back with a massive Poinciana tree. Lot of space in the yard for growing veggies. I very much need someone who's willing to share yard and house duties equally. I'm not just subletting you a room. This will be your/ our home that needs upkeep, not simply accommodation.
If you're a homemaker, this is an opportunity to do your thing in the living room, kitchen, sun room as I having minimal furniture and happy to remove items. (Like the couch, drafting desk).

I'm a quiet person in the home space. When not at work, I spend a lot of time mixing and recording music in another space 'The Shack' that's separate from the main house. So there are many times that you'll have the house to yourself. I'm flexible of get togethers... dinner parties, movie night etc with friends here and there if that's important to you. I enjoy sharing meals now and then with housemates, chats, teaming up for a tv series etc.
I've recently got back into Mountain Biking and have been enjoying riding to work since the increase in fuel prices.
I'm hoping for a friendly, reliable, stable and communicative 30-50 female or male. No children. No couples. Non smoker. Rent is $225wk. Two bedroom each. Setup your second as a study, office or creative space. Shared toilet and bathroom. Elec/Net bills split equally. Paid monthly.
