This well-kept property lies in close proximity to Belconnen town centre and shopping mall. The nearest shops are located in Evatt, consisting of an IGA, chemist, coffee shop, beautician, post office/ news agent, fish & chipery and a great burger/ bar. It's 8 mins drive to Westfield Belconnen and only 6 mins to Kaleen Shops and Coles.
UC is 6 mins drive (via public transport it is less than 25 mins) and ANU is 15 mins by car.

There is public transport at the end of the street that goes to Belconnen interchange. The nearest bus stop is Owen Dixon drive after Heydon Cres. The bus stop is number 4116, on the bus route 41.

The room on offer is a good workable size, at the rear of the premises on a quiet street. This room displays a pleasant leafy sunny aspect of a big garden from the bedroom window. There is also an electric roller blind to block out light if desired.

Our house is fully furnished with dishwasher, washing machine etc. However, the rooms are unfurnished with no built-ins. But some furniture can be provided if needed.

There are three common areas, a U-shaped sitting room, eating area and fully equipped kitchen with two fridges. A leafy alfresco outdoor space and a large rear garden which is ready for summer entertaining.

Parking is off street with two driveways. Additional storage is provided if needed in the garage.

Would prefer single, mature individual, who is well travelled with happy disposition.

Bills and expenses

Bills include: Electricity, water and Internet all divided equally at time of issue. I found if I budget between $15 - $20 per week it all works out OK, usually with change in the pocket.
