About occupants
I’m a 70-year-old queer man who likes a home that feels lived-in, cared for, and easy to relax in. Think “pride in your space” energy — bed made in the morning, kitchen left decent, and a general sense that we’re adults sharing a home, not a backpackers’ hostel.

I’m pretty low-key and enjoy peaceful evenings. Around 10pm the house shifts into quiet mode — lights down, headphones on, gentle movements. Night owls welcome, just the ninja-edition. If you love falling asleep to loud TV explosions… we might not be a match.

Friends and partners staying over? Totally fine. Affection, laughter, a bit of passion — life’s short, enjoy it. No pearl-clutching here.

In the kitchen, be creative! Cook up a storm, experiment, make it smell amazing. Just don’t actually set off the smoke alarm — and clean up afterwards. The dishwasher is a tool, not a museum for dirty plates.

I generally prefer sharing with one person. Couple-dom can sometimes create a funny power dynamic in a house. That said, the right couple — independent, communicative, and respectful of shared space — could absolutely work.

About me: friendly, independent, community-minded, appreciate good conversation and a laugh. Happy to share a cuppa or give each other space — whatever feels natural.

You might be a great fit if you’re:
• tidy without being obsessive
• naturally considerate
• respectful of sleep
• emotionally grown-up
• queer-friendly (or queer yourself)
• and capable of washing a dish without needing a committee meeting

If that sounds like your kind of home, let’s have a chat and see if the vibe fits.
Compatible people
Can cook and clean for themselves, makes their bed in the morning... demonstrating pride in their personal environment which spills into caring for the shared space. The matter of sexual identity is of no concern to me or a prospective tenant. Anything else can be bi-laterally assessed at a person to person introduction. Just read my personal introduction. if it fits we'll fit
Description of pets
This is a dog-free space.
