Home Description
Description of the home
***RARE*** Peaceful home to share, housemates usually stay longer than they intend to, including the current homie.
A beautiful Art Deco (California bungalow style) free-standing double brick home, original features. Is affordable due to a sunroom being converted into bedroom. Will suit a soul who has a young heart yet likes old school style of living. An inspiring place to live, a home vibe with charm, a living art piece that you can contribute to if you so desire. There are technically two bedrooms and the sunroom. The rent is super cheap to support affordable living, given it is a long term rental and the sunroom being used as a bedroom. The home is a rare find in terms of character and value for money for the neighbourhood.

My main goal is to live life in harmony, seek consciousness and to promote kindness, love stoic philosophy and seek to live by their virtues. Inspired by ayurvedic way of living, my weekly food mostly comes from the backyard/earth (fruit and vegetables). Mostly vegetarian, however, not into packaged food. I cook on the nights Andrea is in Mon & Tue. For my vocation, work full-time as Project Crusader supporting others in delivering success. As a knowedge seeking last year I did attempt a career change to study full time for six months Cert IV - Mental Health, I have since realised the overall system of care and perspective in mental health doesn't align with my personal beliefs.
Andrea is a part-time homie - German born - Aussie citizen - Kindergarten teacher - part-time schedule as a homie - here every Mon-Tue evening and every second weekend (though usually away in her van somewhere. Andrea loves her walking, has done Camino Santiago quest too many times, she can fill you in. Andrea is also into camping and doing a wiggle to side-trance, as well as festivals like Confest, Renaissance etc.
re: working arrangements - I go to the office every day leave about 7am and Andrea works full time too at her Kinda
The best home vibes are those based on general social intelligence, including having time to converse beyond talking about the weather. Equally important, is open communication and living with humans who can contribute to living at a common agreed standard.
I would prefer to share the home with like-minded humans who are conscious consumers for the sake of the planet, their health and humanity. Pain points for me include over packaged goods, plastic packaging, chemical toxic cleaning stuff and CAGED eggs.
We live a chilled life full of harmony, no bad vibes, open and frank discussions and peaceful evenings, some good tunes on the weekend. I love listening to community radio PBS or RRR, when there is screen time TV, my preference is to watch doco’s or something that is going to help me understand the world or myself better SBSondemand, ABCiview. We can binge a movie Mon- Tue nights when Andrea ‘in d house and love sharing tunes, my fav atm is Dope Lemon,
