About occupants
Hi. I am in my 60s, contemplating sharing my modest 3 bedroom home in Boronia. I am retired but like to keep physically active. I'm relatively low key, like to keep my home clean & tidy but not overly obsessive. I do not smoke but enjoy the occasional glass of wine, catching up with friends over coffee and social occasions as they occur. In the evenings I'll kickback watching some TV & streaming (eg docos, quality series, sorry, not big on MAFS or The Block!). I do have a small but friendly & house trained dog. Over the years I've lost enthusiasm for cooking creative meals. So now I mainly cook myself basic but nutrious stuff like pasta dishes or stir-fry, fish, but limit red meat. I'm ok to share some meal times along these lines as/if/when respective schedules permit. But otherwise I guess its a topic to discuss in more detail initially - ie how best to handle the issue of food and household consumables generally. Please be aware that storage/cupboard space is a bit limited but I'm working on it.
Compatible people
I would hope to have someone who is:
*fairly relaxed, sociable and with a sense of humour;
*respectful of the house & its contents and contributes to the daily housekeeping type tasks (eg - yawn - dish drying!) and general upkeep stuff (eg the occasional weed-yanking!).
*within reason - given it is a shared home - respectful of one another's personal space & privacy.
*in summary: believes in the principle of 'treat others as you would want to be treated'!
Description of pets
Small female dog, very friendly if a little shy initially. She is largely an inside dog, but well house-trained. Likes adults, children and comfortable with other dogs.
