Description of the home

We have a room open in our beautiful Brunswick home! Room is available before 21 May (somewhat flexible), and is currently $1,142 pcm. This is an ongoing room: you’ll need to sign onto the lease, and pay $940 bond. The lease is a 12-month fixed-term that’ll end in May next year with an opportunity to renew (the lease has been renewed with us several times so far).

🏡THE HOUSE 🏡

Gorgeous, spacious and light filled three bedroom home with a private entertaining balcony, perfect for dinner parties, sun bathing and an arvo knock off. We have air conditioning in the living room and heating in the hallways. The communal areas come fully furnished with large fridge, washing machine, air fryer, soda stream, thermomix and all lounge room and dining room furniture. No pets allowed unfortunately.

🛏️ THE ROOM 🛏️

Room is 3.6m x 3.0m and unfurnished, can fit a queen bed and some furniture. It also comes with spacious built in robes and gorgeous south-facing windows that let in plenty of light (currently getting a new coat of paint!). You’ll be sharing a bathroom downstairs with one other person.
There is also a covered car space that will be free for you to use as well if you need!

🗺️THE LOCATION 🗺️

Fab location in Brunswick. A stone’s throw from Anstey Station, the 19 and 6 trams, the Upfield bike path and the great Sydney Road with places like Flippy’s, A1 Bakery, Woolies Metro, Edi Castle and endless more pubs.
Despite this great location, the street is quiet and cozy, in a quiet laneway with friendly neighbours, parks and multiple bike paths.

👯THE HOUSEMATES 👯

Glenn, 32, he/him. Working full time in hospitality, he loves keeping a tidy DuoLingo streak, listening to Mariah Carey, getting in a little huffy puffy and always having fresh flowers in the home.

Nel, 25, she/her. Neuroscience PhD candidate at Unimelb. She loves baking a good cake, a pint on a sunny afternoon, and loves to go hard on a costume for a themed party.

We enjoy hanging out and the occasional dinner party but we also keep busy with our own things outside the home and respect each others' space.
