Home Description

Description of the home

I’m looking for a new housemate to join me in our home in Brunswick. It’s a great spot—just a short walk from Sydney Road and super close to Anstey train station. The house is a 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom place that’s fully furnished and heated, with a lovely garden and veranda to hang out in. The room available is unfurnished, so you can make it your own.

There’s plenty of free street parking nearby as well. Rent is $1,195 per month per person (plus bills), with a bond of one month's rent. If you’re looking for a chill place in a vibrant neighborhood and think we’d be a good fit, feel free to reach out and come by to check out the place!

About occupants
You will be living with me (em) .
I work full-time and am currently enrolled in university for a career change, so I have a fairly busy schedule. During the weekdays, I prefer a quiet and relaxing atmosphere at home. I love cooking and listening to music—music is a big part of my day, so I’m very easygoing about that; it never bothers me.
On weekends, I’m usually out and about, exploring or just enjoying my time away from the house.
When it comes to keeping the place clean, I believe in being organized and tidy. I don’t feel the need for strict cleaning schedules or rigid rules. My philosophy is simple: I value a roommate who is responsible, mindful of shared spaces, and understands their share of the load without needing a roster.
Regarding food, I prefer keeping my meals separate most of the time, but I’m always open to sharing a meal or a drink every now and then when the mood strikes.

Travis will be living between Queensland and Melbourne for the next six months. Since he will be working in Queensland, he will rarely travel to Melbourne so he will keep his room . During this period, the rent will be split into three, and you will be sharing the house with me most of the time.

You will take my 3rd flatmate’s room .
Compatible people
The things I value most in a new roommate are being organized, responsible, and open-minded. I am looking for someone who manages their own time and life well, but who also does not neglect their responsibilities around the house. I would love to live with someone who is reliable and punctual when it comes to rent and bills.

Our place is quite comfortable and peaceful; I am looking for someone who is LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive—someone who will feel at home here, rather than just treating it as a place to stay. If this sounds like a good fit for you, let’s get in touch and I can tell you more about the place!
