My housemate has taken the leap and is purchasing her own hub, meaning she is heartbreakingly moving out of my current place in Brunswick East.

It's a 2 bedroom free standing unit, with plenty of natural light, a garage with loads of storage and a great kitchen with a dishwasher. Separate toilet, shower and bath. The place also has dual heating and air conditioning, meaning you'll always be comfortable and cozy. It's literally a piece of suburban paradise in the inner-North! You'll also be on a dead end street, so it's a very quiet neighborhood. If you have a car there is ample free street parking.

On one side there is the Merri Creek trail that is perfect for morning walks! On the other side is just a few blocks from the 96 tram that will get you to the city in 15 minutes. Walking distance to Coles, plenty of cafes, and restaurants. The 11 tram is also easily accessible to get you to places like Eddy Gardens, the heart of Fitzroy, Northcote and Preston, and there are buses that get you to Sydney Rd Brunswick in just a few stops. This is a private rental and the landlords are lovely. They maintain our front garden and are very quick to respond to (and fix) any house issues. They will probably want to vet you before agreeing to have you on the lease, but they are very hands-off so won't bother you at all after you move in.

Your room looks out into the courtyard and gets the most perfect sunlight. It has a built-in wardrobe and can fit a queen bed, bedside table and a set of drawers & dresser. It has 3 (yes 3!) separate blinds to keep any light out, guaranteeing you the best nights sleep ever.

- You'll be sharing with Lou: professional makeup artist. She is an eccentric cat lady who loves plants, fashion music & the arts. If she’s not working crazy hours on films/ theatre/ editorials she’s researching & drawing her next creative project. Likes to chill out but is always up for a chat and a laugh. She has an indoor cat named Terrance, who is the handsomest boy ever.
- You will be in your late 30s- 50's, preferably femme, be employed and reliable with paying rent and bills. Contribute to the house cleanliness, respectful of personal space but also enjoy being social. Loving cats is a must! No additional pets or couples please

Bills and expenses

$1250 rent per month (this includes water bill). Rent is fixed for over 3yrs. Things like internet, gas and electricity are separate. & divided between us both. You will need to go on the lease & be approved by the landlord as its a private rental.
